Office Manager
Kimberly Simmons brings over 30 years of experience in office management and administrative support, with a strong foundation in legal operations, business administration, and client service. In her role as Office Manager at the firm, Kimberly is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing staff schedules, handling billing and payroll, coordinating client communications, and maintaining case management systems.
Her attention to detail, commitment to organization, and ability to anticipate the needs of both attorneys and clients make her an essential part of the firm's success. Kimberly is especially skilled at creating streamlined processes that enhance efficiency and ensure a high standard of professionalism in every aspect of the firm’s operations.
Kimberly holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a Minor in Business from Lamar University. Her background also includes experience in public safety and managing administrative operations in fast-paced business environments, giving her a unique and well-rounded perspective.
Beyond her professional life, Kimberly cherishes the love and support of her husband, children, and granddaughter. Together, they enjoy living on the Texas coast and spending quality time outdoors, making memories as a family. She values balance, connection, and the importance of family in everything she does.
Benjamin Ashton
Paralegal
Benjamin became interested in the legal field while attending school in Austin and began working in family law in 2016. Since becoming a paralegal, he continuously looks forward to learning from and overcoming the challenges encountered in pursuit of the best outcome for the clients and their families. He has since relocated to Brazoria County and, in 2025, joined the Jeff Gilbert legal team.
Jamie Wilson
Senior Legal Assistant
With over 22 years of experience in family law, her dedication to advocating for the client's interests, providing exceptional support with a blend of expertise and empathy has been a cornerstone of her career. Her extensive background in navigating complex family law matters equips her with a deep understanding of the challenges clients face during their legal journeys.
Jamie’s career has been defined by her unwavering commitment to compassionate service. She approaches each case with genuine kindness, ensuring that clients feel heard, valued, and supported. Her ability to balance professional acumen with a warm, empathetic approach makes her an invaluable advocate for those she assists.
She is well respected in Brazoria County by fellow legal assistants, attorneys and Judges, whom she has had a continued close working relationship with for most of her career in family law. Throughout her career, Jamie has been a mentor to many young attorneys and legal professionals. She takes pride in seeing others being successful and build their confidence in themselves in the field and with their clients.
Outside the office, Jamie enjoys spending time with her four-legged fur babies, traveling and cooking.
Jamie’s steadfast support and compassionate nature make her a trusted ally and a guiding light for those navigating the complexities of family law.
